The Southern District Health Board has taken its first step towards the full go-live of HealthOne, the shared patient record system pioneered by Canterbury DHB and formerly known as the electronic shared care record view (eSCRV).
Authorised users across the South Island have been given access to community laboratory test results, with access set to open up to Southern DHB personnel through the Health Connect South clinical workstation and to GPs and community pharmacists as the system rolls out across the district later this year.
