The New Zealand government aims to roll out a national booking system for COVID-19 vaccinations at the end of May, allowing people to pre-register and then book an appointment that suits their time.
The booking system, which will use a plug-in to the Salesforce-based national COVID-19 immunisation register (CIR), will allow people to book for their first and second dose of the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine that all New Zealanders will receive, but will also allow people to change their booking to another location for the second vaccination if necessary.
