Acting chief technology and digital services officer at the Ministry of Health Giles Southwell will headline the one-day Health Informatics New Zealand event at ITx 2016 in July, one of eight different conferences that make up New Zealand's conference of IT.

Mr Southwell, who has been seconded to the ministry from Internal Revenue where he is chief financial officer, will discuss the recently released NZ Health Strategy.
