Medication adherence platform vendor MedAdvisor has finalised its purchase of pharmacy software developer Healthnotes for $5.5 million, with the combined company now active in 2400 community pharmacies, representing about 45 per cent of the market.

ASX-listed MedAdvisor recently raised $8m in total to buy Healthnotes and invest further in its technology platform, which includes a new GP Link service and a move last week into the acute care setting following an agreement with health insurer Bupa and private hospital operator Healthscope.
