David Hay made HL7NZ chair emeritus as Peter Jordan steps up

Orion Health product strategist and FHIR clinical expert David Hay was named 'chair emeritus' in perpetuity of HL7 New Zealand in recognition of the eight years he spent as chair of the group, the new board of which met for the first time this week.

Dr Hay, who remains an elected member of the board and will continue to lead initiatives on the FHIR standard, has been replaced as chairman by Patients First solutions architect and previous HL7NZ vice-chairman Peter Jordan.
