Practice management software vendor Zedmed has released version 31 of its clinical and practice management system, featuring two-way SMS functionality, real-time MIMS updates and full integration for the SafeScript real-time prescription monitoring system for Victorian users.

The two-way SMS capability will allow patients to directly reply to appointment reminder message and Intramail and SMS messages can be managed in a new notifications panel in the Office screen. Recalls will now be sent as SMS messages rather than hard copy letters.
