Telstra Health’s primary and community health clinical information system Communicare has undergone a big upgrade, featuring enhancements to its prescribing and medication tools and workflows, immunisation functionality for the COVID-19 vaccination roll-out as well as Telstra Health’s new SMS service, TH Notify.

Communicare version 21.1 also includes a clinical decision support upgrade for drug to condition interaction checking, with the ability to issue a token for electronic prescribing in a future release in the coming months as well as compliance with the new secure messaging standards to come online in the next upgrade in June.
