Sydney-based skin cancer laboratory Southern Sun Pathology has gone live with Sectra’s digital pathology solution, allowing pathologists to examine skin tissues remotely and share images more efficiently.

The solution will be integrated with the two different laboratory information systems (LIS) used at Southern Sun Pathology and its Gold Coast subsidiary Helix Pathology, a histopathology and cytology lab which Southern Sun bought recently.
