InterSystems has won the $259 million tender for the Northern Territory's Core Clinical Systems Renewal Program (CCSRP), which will see its technology used to create a single digital medical record for all Territorians.

InterSystems was chosen from a shortlist of four – the others were Telstra Health, Epic and Allscripts – but it is understood that 14 vendors in total made a bid, including other big names such as Cerner, CSC (now DXC), Meditech and Orion Health.

The company has had a long relationship with NT Health, providing its pathology system TrakCare Lab and its integration engine, Ensemble.
