Patient education specialist Healthily and population health software vendor Pen CS are about to launch their next generation SMS reminder technology GoShare Plus, which is being aimed at primary care preventative health campaigns and QI activities such as increasing vaccination rates, cancer screening and health assessment reminders.
GoShare Plus combines Pen's Clinical Audit Tool (CAT4) health analytics capability and GoShare's content library and 'content bundle' delivery method to enable general practices to send credible and engaging health information to patients based on selected criteria.
The tool is currently being used in several pilots, including one that will recruit 50 practices to use GoShare Plus to increase participation in shingles vaccinations.
