DoH releases MBS item numbers for COVID-19 telehealth services

The Department of Health has this morning released the new MBS item numbers that can be used by GPs, specialists, psychologists and nurse practitioners using telehealth services to treat patients at risk of COVID-19.

The items cover patients who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 virus but are not in hospital or patients who have been required to isolate themselves in quarantine.
