Digital health agency to kick off digital health strategy consultations

The Australian Digital Health Agency (ADHA) is planning to open up consultations on the new national digital health strategy in the first week of November, aiming to put meat on the bones of a plan to take to the Commonwealth and the jurisdictions to guide not only the agency's work program but government investment in digital health over the next four or five years.

The long-delayed 'refresh' of Deloitte's 2008 national eHealth strategy is not likely to see the light of day as the new agency's new CEO, Tim Kelsey, puts his own mark on the agenda, planning a round of co-design and co-production workshops to inform the development of the strategy to take to COAG.
