Melbourne's Austin Health has issued a request for information for a new radiology information system (RIS) that offers workflow capabilities designed to improve patient experience, reduce clinical risk and improve hospital efficiency.

The system will be required to integrate with Austin's Cerner electronic medical record, TrakCare patient administration system, PowerHealth Solutions' PBRC billing system, Agfa picture archiving and communication system, HealthLink secure messaging and the My Health Record.
