ASX-listed HSC Technology Group has partnered with US firm FallCall Solutions to integrate its 24/7 emergency monitoring system for Apple Watch, iPhone and Android with HSC’s Talius smart care platform and Bluetooth medical alert devices.
If a fall is detected and a help call is activated on the medical alert, HSC can connect to 24-hour response providers to the user on their mobile phone.
HSC Talius platform uses next-generation machine learning and artificial intelligence to help improve people’s safety, independence and autonomy. The cloud-based Talius platform is also integrated with CSIRO’s sensor-based in-home monitoring system.
FallCall will connect a user’s Bluetooth medical alert buttons through a low-cost subscription set-up process and will use Talius to route help call communications to emergency response providers throughout Australia.
HSC managing director Graham Russell said there was an increased demand in the market for a mobile emergency response solution that offers a seamless home to the community care solution.
“With the integration into the Talius platform we can immediately monitor FallCall with dozens of 24-hour response partners.”
FallCall can integrate with emergency devices such as Essence Jewelry’s wearable emergency devices for detecting falls.
FallCall is available on the Talius platform on iOS this month and on Android next month.
