Clevertar going global with virtual health coach

South Australian start-up firm Clevertar is trialling its avatar-based health coaching technology in a pilot project in the state of Pennsylvania before a wider expansion into the huge US market.

Clevertar, which was spun out of Flinders University's Thinking Head artificial intelligence project three years ago, is best known for its Anna Cares digital agent, a 'clever avatar' that sits on an iPad and acts as a coach and aide for use in the community aged care sector.
