The aged care sector’s vendors and providers are ready for ITAC25, one of the major innovation conferences of the year to be held March 12-13 at Marvel stadium, Melbourne.
The sector is readying for the new Aged Care Act to start July 1, so it is fitting the program is strongly themed around inspirational future-thinking.
Global futurist Anders Sorman-Nilsson appears on Wednesday March 12 for the conference opening session – presenting ‘The courage to innovate: navigating a converging future’.

Swedish-Australian thought leader and TedGlobal regular Mr Sorman-Nilsson will set the pace for the two-day agenda.

He is followed by keynote Paul Hawkins, from Crazy Might Work leadership and innovation academy which partnered with Ageing Australia to deliver a program for sector leaders.
Dr Catherine Ball, scientist, technologist and futurist – whose business ventures span neuroscience and AI – is internationally recognised for her work with drones and robotics. She will present on Thursday morning on ‘Emerge: shaping tomorrow’s technologies for a better world’.

Stephen Johnston, Fellow in Healthy Longevity at SOMPO Digital Lab, will present his keynote at the conference close on Thursday. He was co-founder of Aging2.0 and currently also curates a newsletter Looking Forward. He will be presenting on the ‘evolving landscape of ageing and the innovations and strategies shaping the future of longevity’.
