We are thrilled to extend you a warm invitation for the 2024 Successes and Failures in Telehealth (SFT-24) conference, hosted by The University of Queensland’s Centre for Online Health (UQ-COH).
Taking place from 13 – 15th November, 2024 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, SFT-24 promises to be a premier event in Australia’s healthcare landscape, fostering collaboration and innovation in the dynamic field of telehealth and virtual healthcare.
Since its inception in 2001, the SFT conferences have been at the forefront of showcasing the transformative potential of telehealth and virtual care. With a long history of bringing together stakeholders – including clinicians, researchers, policymakers, educators, industry leaders, and consumers – SFT-24 provides an unparalleled platform for knowledge exchange and networking.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has accelerated the adoption of telehealth across healthcare settings, SFT-24 holds even greater significance as we collectively navigate the challenges and opportunities in this rapidly evolving field. Our goal is to share experiences, facilitate collaborations, develop strategies, and foster innovation to ensure the seamless integration and sustainability of telehealth.
The call for abstracts is now open, and we encourage you to submit your work for presentation at SFT-24. We invite abstracts which represent original research (formal evaluation of telehealth and virtual care); and/or clinical case reports (describing your telehealth service and experience from a service provider perspective). SFT-24 abstracts are due before Monday 27 May 2024 and SFT-24 abstract submission guidelines are now available.
The conference will feature an array of engaging formats including keynote presentations, oral and poster presentations, dynamic panel sessions, and an immersive industry showcase. Sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities are now available – giving our industry leaders the opportunity to share their expertise, products and services with our SFT delegates. Additionally, delegates will have the opportunity to participate in exclusive workshops tailored to varying levels of telehealth experience, ensuring a truly inclusive and enriching experience for all.
Furthermore, we are delighted to announce that early-bird and group registration discounts are now available, making SFT-24 more accessible than ever before. We urge you to mark your calendars and spread the word within your professional networks, as we collectively strive to shape the future of telehealth services not only in Australia but also on a global scale.
On behalf of the organising committee, we look forward to your participation at SFT-24 in Brisbane. We are confident that this conference will serve as an inspiring forum for learning, networking, and contributing to the advancement of telehealth and virtual care services worldwide.
