Tasmanian Premier Peter Gutwein has handed the tough health portfolio to his deputy Jeremy Rockliff in the newly re-elected government’s new cabinet.

Mr Rockliff, a farmer by profession who has been in parliament since 2002, also has responsibility for mental health and wellbeing, and community services and development. He keeps advanced manufacturing and defence industries interests from his previous portfolio.
