Virtual health provider Tend raises $15m, looks to buy general practices

New Zealand digital-first healthcare provider Tend has raised $NZ15 million in a capital funding round and is now looking to expand and buy more general practices.

Tend, which owns a clinic in Auckland to provide in-person healthcare, offers a range of virtual primary healthcare services through its smartphone app, including bookings, payments, video consults, messaging, ePrescriptions and pathology orders.
