Sydney Local Health District is looking to recruit general practitioners to care for COVID positive and negative patients through its rpavirtual hospital service, which has helped manage more than 6000 patients since it began in February last year.

Many of those patients have been through the district’s special health accommodation quarantine program and about 1000 were COVID-19 positive. rpavirtual has also looked after over 2500 patients in quarantine who have been COVID negative but had complex heath conditions.
