Gynaecological surgeons adopt performance and complications tracking tool

Surgeons specialising in minimally invasive gynaecological procedures are set to begin using a locally developed data analysis tool to track and minimise post-operative complications.

Brisbane-based SurgicalPerformance, which was founded by practising gynaecological oncologist Andreas Obermair, has partnered with the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy & Surgery Society (AGES) to introduce the tool to its 600 members in Australia and New Zealand from January 2017.
