Melbourne-based digital health firm Health& has gone live with the personal health record and preventative algorithm component of its consumer health portal, partnering with IBM Watson to power its natural language processing capabilities and with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), which has come on board as an official partner.

Health& has been working on an ambitious health platform for a number of years as part of founder Bob Biddle's interest in using artificial intelligence and machine learning to reflect how a doctor reasons to make a diagnosis and treatment plan, and to help consumers to take control of their health and their health information.
